Perfect for cold seasons, this Mapo Hot Pot Base blends the spiciness of doubanjiang and chili oil with the rich depth of tianmianjiang, enhanced by fragrant scallion oil and spices for an authentic Chinese-style hot pot broth. The bold umami and tingling spiciness will warm you up from the inside out.
Designed for 2–3 servings, it's ideal for families, solo hot pots, or small gatherings. Plus, it contains no yeast extract or hydrolyzed protein, keeping the ingredients simple and natural.
Easy to prepare:
Shake the packet well before pouring it into a pot, then add 300cc of water and bring to a gentle boil. Add ingredients in order of cooking time, and once they are cooked, your hot pot is ready!
Recommended ingredients: Ground pork, white leek, garlic chives, tofu, bean sprouts, glass noodles, and maitake mushrooms. Even with simple ingredients, you can enjoy a rich and flavorful Mapo Hot Pot.
