Baeren Schwarz is a dark beer with a smooth, refreshing taste. True to its name, which means “black” in German, this lager beer features a rich color but offers an unexpectedly light and easy-to-drink experience. The roasted aroma is subtly delightful, making it a well-balanced option even for those who typically avoid dark beers. Having been crowned the best in the world at an international beer competition, its exceptional quality is undeniable.
Baeren Brewery, the creator of this beer, is located in Morioka, Iwate Prefecture. Using vintage equipment from southern Germany that is over 100 years old, they craft their beers by hand. Nestled in nature, this traditional brewery also offers tours for visitors to experience their process firsthand.
