"Baeren Schwarz" is a black beer known for its smooth and refreshing taste. As its name "Schwarz," meaning "black" in German, suggests, it has a deep, dark color but is surprisingly easy to drink as a lager. With a subtle roasted aroma, it’s a well-balanced beer that even those who are not fond of dark beers can enjoy. It has also won the title of world’s best at an international beer competition, proving its exceptional quality.
Baeren Brewery, located in Morioka, Iwate, handcrafts their beer using vintage equipment from Southern Germany, which is over 100 years old. Set in a nature-rich workshop, they adhere to traditional brewing methods and offer tours, allowing visitors to experience the brewing process firsthand.
